Instax Mini, over exposed. haha

Yesterday, 22nd of June 2010, I turned 22. Wow. The number scares me a little. Twenty two. I doubt my appearance or my behavior reflects that number. Haha.

Thanks to everyone who wished me on Facebook (although I already disable the birthday thing on my account), Twitter, Tumblr (!) and via any other means. Really appreciate all of them 

I don’t really do birthday celebration, so there’s nothing special anyway.

Oh shit I’m old.

It has been some time since I wanted to register a .my domain on my real name – but I kept on delaying it. Since I have some time here at home, I figured its the best time to work on it. It is GaddafiRusli.my.

I am not treating this as a portfolio, because I don’t think I am qualify to have a portfolio, yet. That is why I never really compile my previous works and show it off – just because I am still not impress with my own works. So, I’ll only treat this page as a landing page for me, with only a small sample of my previous works. It is my name, and no name is better than your real name, isn’t it?

I created this last month for a personal project, but decided to call it off – still don’t know what to do with it. It is not a complete template though. Just loving the element.

The FYP presentation went pretty well. The examiners seems okay with the project. Hope that will be reflected on the result slip later. yeah, exam oriented much. Currently at home, stuffing my mouth and stomach with many types of food, like, all the time. Tried to spend some time in front of the television with the family – but too much annoying TV shows around. Why the hell everyone want to be a singer through those reality shows? sigh. World Cup? yeah, whatever.

Some of you may already know that my Macbook HD fucked up last few days. It was a normal night and I just went out for a while to hang out with some friends at the basketball court (okay that’s nowhere near normal actually), to return to my room when suddenly my Macbook wouldn’t start – at all. I’ve read somewhere that when the progress bar appears on the boot screen, there might be some problems. After several force restarts, the Macbook still died on me. Thankfully I have an extra laptop with me, a Windows laptop, so it is easier for me to look for solutions online while trying to fix the issue. None are working.

I tried safe boot by pressing Shift (or Shift+Cmd+V) on start, the Macbook died in the process. I put in the Leopard installation disk and use the Disk Utility to verify and repair the disk – no luck. I read about target disk mode, but I don’t know where to get anyone with a Macbook at that moment. I almost gave up. I don’t care about the hard disk. I just want my files. Some new files are not synced yet into my Dropbox or my external hard disk. It was a bad timing. I was trying to avoid resorting to reformat the hard disk.

We went to the Youth Festival last weekend for a short post-final-exam trip. I don’t really bother about the events. It was OK. But I’m glad that we met some people there. Thanks to ajinda for being our tour guide throughout the day!  First stop, Eightyfourcube booth, of course.

I went to the nearest wifi spot just now to upload this new theme. What can I say, the high-tech infrastructure of UTP internet doesn’t allow FTP or cPanel access. Anyhow, I started working on it bit by bit during the study week. I just feel like the previous theme is not really my type. So here it is.

By the way, the final exam is finally over. Next one will be the preparation for my FYP presentation. But I want to take some time to do some redesign works, and other works that are really worth doing, outside of the academic circle, first. And oh, I’ll be going to the Youth Festival on Saturday and/or Sunday. Say hi if you see me or blank172!

Finished two subjects for final exam. Another two this coming Wednesday and Thursday. Then working on FYP oral presentation. Can’t wait for the holiday ! *ps; This is just a filler to push the previous post down. Feel weird to see my face everytime I open my blog haha

Final exam first paper will be this coming Saturday. By then, I have to cut my hair, again. Or else I can’t get into the exam hall. Fuu. A quick photoshoot to ‘preserve’ the hair. haha yeah right.
